Past and present photos of Japanese fashion models make us wonder, where have all the gyaru gone? | RocketNews24

I remember playing a flash game called ganguro girl or something like that. I dun understand why they think of it as a fashion, and realized it a few years later it was a boom at Japan on that time.

And then, after reading this article at rocketnews, I realized, it had ended. Well, not that I miss it.

Mirai Suenaga

Introduction to Mirai chan. Now that I think of it, been a while since I last spoke of her.

image

Created by Danny Choo back in 2007, Mirai Suenaga (pronounced “mee-rai soo-eh-na -gah”) is the mascot character for Culture Japan and heroine for the story Mirai Millennium.
Originally created with the purpose to prettify the website “dannychoo.com,” Mirai ended up turning out to be more than a website mascot and went on to collaborate with various anime and game companies such as Square Enix, Good Smile Company, Bushiroad, Ascii Media Works, King Records and Nitroplus.

In 2013, Mirai became an official mascot for Japan Tourism and in 2014 she became an official mascot for Malaysia Tourism.

Watch “Speaking Japanese Fluently in 6 Months: 6 Steps to Success” on YouTube

I wish that I can read and speak Japanese. Especially after certain customer was nagging me in learning Mandarin. Umm.. Well, that’s just how some Chinese in Malaysia act. I’m not that interested but still take notes from him.

I need to step up my game from just numbers to real word soon. For those also learning it this might help:

I wonder if my style of learning English using forum can be applied too? I used to go to animeleague.net maybe there is a place like that somewhere in the Internet.

© JapanToday

Source Image: JapanToday

Gay marriage is still not legal in Japan, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t options for LGBT couples dreaming of tying the knot in Nippon. Joining big venues like Tokyo Disneyland, an ancient Zen temple in the picturesque city of Kyoto is offering gay weddings in traditional Japanese style.

Well, I never thought of yuri marriage in a temple. I can imagine in church, but in temple?

By the way, if you happen to be in Kyoto, Shunkoin offers Zen meditation classes…

Meditation classes. You know what may happened, right? =3
